Table Doria of Anghiari Battle in Uffizi Gallery
Sala delle Carte Geografiche
From March 25 to June 29 2014 in Sala delle Carte Geografiche of Uffizi Gallery will be exhibited four painted panels of sixteenth century belonging to Florentine Galleries collections and depicting Leonardo's copies or derivations. The paintings are: Leda and the Swan, St. Anna Metterza and two panels depicting the story of the struggle for pennant stretch from Anghiari Battle. The initiative, which for three months gives to everyone the chance to visit the room number 16, often closed to the public, is organized to coincide with the arrival in Uffizi of Table Doria, work out illegally from Italy and returned to our country during 2012, as a donation of Tokyo Fuji Art Museum.
