Flowers Paintings from Medici collections

Parchments presented, preserved in various collections of Florentine museums and often not exposed to the public to ensure the proper preservation, whose common element is flowers paintings presence, sometimes collected in superb bouquets or in delicate bouquet, sometimes accompanied by fruit or poultry. The paintings are on display in Poggio a Caiano Villa. There are some beautiful paintings by Giovanna Garzoni (1600- 1670) with flowers bouquets, as well as painted parchments by Lorenzo Todini (1646 - end of the XVII cent.), by Benedictine nun, Sister Teresa Berenice (Louisa Maria Vitelli, 1687 - 1738) and the aristocratic lovers of flowers painting such as Alessandro Marsili and Ferdinando Narvaez, at the beginning of the eighteenth century.
