Contini Bonacossi  collection
Starting from 14 November , and until December 19 , 2013, shooting free guided tours of the collection Contini Bonacossi , carried out by the supervisory assistants . The collection of Alessandro Contini Bonacossi is among the most important of 1900. The State has been able to acquire a part in 1969 , for the Uffizi Gallery. There are 50 works exhibited in some quarters specially prepared and situated between Via Lambertesca and Chiasso Baroncelli . You can admire furniture, ceramics and masterpieces of European painting and sculpture from 1300 to 1700 , with works by Andrea del Castagno , Giovanni Bellini , Jerome Savoldo , El Greek , Bernini, Velasquez and Goya. The visits will take place on Thursday at 14:15 and at 16:00 . The meeting of the visitors is under the Loggia of the Uffizi ( long side) at the first door, coming from Piazza della Signoria, 15 minutes before the visit. Visits are by appointment and the groups will be composed of a maximum of 15 people. In order to participate to the visits must be booked by phoning 055-285610 , from Tuesday to Saturday from 14pm to 16pm.
